Tech women's golf team looks to continue strong play at F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – After a record-breaking performance last week at the Fall Invitational, the Tennessee Tech women's golf team will look to keep its momentum rolling Monday morning as the Golden Eagles kick off play at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate hosted by Austin Peay at the Clarksville Country Club.

The Golden Eagles, particularly senior Maddi Everts and junior Whitney Robertson, enjoyed loads of success last season at the same event, with Everts claiming individual medalist honors and Robertson notching a top-five finish. This year's edition of the tournament will feature 36 holes on a 5,974-yard layout.

Play will begin Monday morning with tee times spanning from 8 a.m. to 9:12 a.m. CDT. The final 18 holes will take place Tuesday, with play beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

Eight teams make up this year's field, including four other Ohio Valley Conference programs. Here is a look at the participating teams:

Lipscomb
Murray State
Tennessee State
Tennessee Tech
USC Upstate

"The women have generated a substantial amount of momentum and confidence going into this event coming off their performance last week," head coach Polk Brown said. "Furthermore, we have had a lot of success at Clarksville in the past. We will look to continue this trend and we fully expect to put ourselves in great position come Tuesday morning."
