ISLANDER CLASSIC: Feb. 20-21, 2022 – 54 holes (36 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-72, 6,112-yard Corpus Christi Country Club in Corpus Christi, Texas. The first round begins with an 8:30 a.m. CT shotgun start and will be immediately followed by the second round. The third round tees off with another shotgun start Tuesday morning.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are sophomore Reagan Stuke, junior Ainsley Simms, senior Gittle Sciolis, freshman Sydney Branson, and senior Elisabeth Toennessen.

THE COMPETITION: The 16-team field consists of host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, as well as Bryant, Creighton, Drake, Houston Christian, Lamar, McLennan College, Omaha, Prairie View A&M, Southern Illinois, Stephen F. Austin, Tennessee Tech, Texas A&M-Kingsville, UT Arlington, UTRGV, and Valparaiso.

THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH AMANDA SMITH: "The ladies are really looking forward to flying out to Texas to compete. This course is very narrow and has similar grass to what we play on every day. We have been very blessed with the weather and have been able to practice here in Tennessee, so it will be a true test for these ladies to take it down there and compete."
