COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Fresh off the program's first-ever bid to the NCAA Tournament and first Ohio Valley Conference crown since 1990, the Tennessee Tech men's golf team will look to build off last season's success as it takes on a challenging 2024-25 slate.

"We have put together an outstanding schedule for the team this year with a mix of some familiar events and new ones," Tech head coach Polk Brown explained. "These tournaments will give our guys a great opportunity to test their skills amongst other schools in our conference and Power 4 competition. As we work our way to the OVC Championships in April, I believe we will be battle-tested and ready to compete at a very high level."

Opening its first campaign as defending OVC champs in 25 years, the Golden Eagles will kick off the fall in Madison, Ill. at the SIUE Dolenc Invitational, an event the purple and gold have experience with. Hosted by league foe SIUE, the two-day tournament will send Tech to Gateway National Golf Club from Sept. 9-10, it's first appearance in the event since placing second in Fall 2019.

Following the first week of action, Tech heads back out to the links for another event hosted by a conference foe, UT Martin's Grover Page Classic. Competing from September 16-17 at the Jackson Country Club, in Jackson, Tenn., the Cookeville crew will look to repeat a long history of success at the annual tournament.

The Golden Eagles return to The Carolina Cup for the second straight year, hosted by USC Upstate from Oct. 6-8. Located in Spartanburg, S.C., play will take place at The Carolina Country Club for the team's lone three-day event of the fall.

Next on the docket for the Tech crew is Kennesaw State's Pinetree Intercollegiate from Oct. 14-15, another tournament the Golden Eagles have toyed with before. Located in Kennesaw, Ga., the purple and gold returns to action at the Pinetree Country Club after skipping the event last season.

Rounding out the fall season, the Golden Eagles will trek north to Cincinnati, Ohio for the Xavier Invitational. Competing at Maketewah Country Club from Oct. 21-22, it represents Tech's third straight year in the Musketeers' fall event.

The spring campaign will open Mar. 13-14 in St. Simons Island, Ga. for the purple and gold, as Tech makes it back-to-back years taking on Sea Palms Resort at the Peoples Golf Championship. Hosted by Western Carolina, it marks the first of two three-day tournaments to kick off the spring.

After its trip to Georgia, the Golden Eagles will visit Mobile, Ala. for the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate Mar. 23-25. South Alabama's event, a first-time affair for TTU, will take place on the Falls Course at Magnolia Cove, part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.

Another new tournament finds a place on the 2024-25 schedule for the purple and gold, with Indiana's Hoosier Collegiate representing Tech's newest test. The Golden Eagles will visit Bloomington, Ind. from Apr. 5-6 while taking their first taste of the Pfau Course at Indiana University.

To complete the regular season, Tech will head back to Bridgeport, W.Va. for the second straight year to compete in West Virginia's Mountaineer Invitational. Play will take place Apr. 14-15 at Pete Dye Golf Club.

The OVC Championships makes the return to Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo. for the 2024-25 edition of the league's postseason event. The event will again feature three days of stroke play, from Apr. 20-22, with the top four teams advancing to match play on Apr. 23 to fight for the title.
