COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech senior punter Chad Zinchini has earned second-team All-America honors from College Sports Madness.

Zinchini is one of eight players from the Ohio Valley Conference to earn FCS All-America honors from CSM, including three first-team, three second-team and two third-team picks.

First-team picks from the OVC are Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garappolo and wide receiver Eric Lora, and Tennessee State tight end A.C. Leonard. Named second-team along with Zinchini are UT Martin wide receiver Jeremy Butler and Tennessee State defensive back Daniel Fitzpatrick. The third-team OVC selections are RB Demarcus James of Jacksonville State and linebacker Tony Bell from UT Martin.

He led the league and set a school record by averaging 45.7 yards per kick in 2013, ranking second in the Football Championship Subdivision. Zinchini and lineman Wesley Sherrill will play next week in the FCS All-Star game in Myrtle Beach.
