COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Starting times for Tennessee Tech's six
home football games at Tucker Stadium have been announced for the
2014 season. The Golden Eagles' home schedule includes three night
contests – one on a Thursday – and three afternoon
games.
The first three home dates – Thursday, Aug. 28 vs. Kentucky Christian, Saturday, Oct. 4 vs. Murray State, and Saturday, Oct. 18 vs. Eastern Kentucky – will all kick off at 7 p.m. CT.
Tech's three November games – Saturday, Nov. 1 vs. Eastern
Illinois, Saturday, Nov. 8 for Homecoming vs. Southeast Missouri,
and Saturday, Nov. 15 vs. Chattanooga – will all kick off at
1:30 p.m. CT.
On the road, the Golden Eagles are scheduled for four different
starting times over their five games, including five afternoon
kickoffs and one game under the lights. Tech's first two road
tests, Saturday, Sept. 6 at Indiana State and Saturday, Sept. 20 at
Tennessee State, each begin at 2 p.m. The game in the UNI-Dome
against Northern Iowa has a 4 p.m. starting time, while the only
night game comes Thursday, Oct. 9, at UT Martin with a 6:30 p.m.
kickoff. The contest at Jacksonville State on Oct. 25, is a 3 p.m.
start, while the regular season finale at Austin Peay is slated for
a 1 p.m. kickoff.
