COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Fourteen Tennessee Tech football players will be highlighted during a two-minute Player Profile segment on each Watson Brown Show this season. If that's not enough, extended versions will also be avaible on the Tech Athletics YouTube channel after The Watson Brown Show airs.
This week, redshirt junior Marty Jones shares his story and personality with viewers. The talented defensive back, a Cincinnati, Ohio native, is a seasoned veteran who was a regular contributor in 2009 and 2010 but has seen less than two games of action in the past two years. He amassed 145 career tackles and six interceptions over his first two-plus seasons. Jones has missed the last two years with season-ending injuries and is looking to make a triumphant return during the 2013 season.
Each week a different football student-athlete will be highlighted and the extended version (below) of the interview will be avaliable on YouTube.
