EVENT IS TODAY in TUCKER STADIUM
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- With kickoff of the Tennessee Tech football
season quickly approaching, fans are invited to meet the team at
the annual late-summer tradition, the Gathering of Eagles.
Head coach Watson Brown and the Golden Eagles will be available for autographs and photos Saturday following the team's final scrimmage of fall camp.
Fans are invited to come early to take part in a variety of other activities added to the Gathering of Eagles, including a Surplus Sale, a Kids' Zone and Women's Clinic. The sale and Kids' Zone are from 10 a.m. until noon, and the women's clinic, featuring a Q&A session with Watson Brown, runs from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m.
A free picnic lunch will be available to all fans in the
stadium, beginning at 12 noon. At 1 p.m., the team will be on the
field for a scrimmage as fans get a closeup look at "The Fastest 60
Minutes in Football" for about 100 plays.
Season tickets will be on sale at the Gathering of Eagles.
The Golden Eagles open the schedule on Thursday, Aug. 29, when
they host Cumberland University at 7 p.m. The Kiss 98.5 FM Tailgate
Park will open at 4 p.m.
