Tech women's basketball to host 2014-15 awards banquet

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team is inviting all Golden Eagle faithful to the annual Awards Banquet. The dinner, to be held on Wednesday, April 29, is open to all Golden Eagles basketball fans.

The annual dinner will be at 6 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Roaden University Center. The cost is $20 per person. This includes dinner, beverage, and dessert.

In the 2014-15, the Golden Eagles saw newcomer Samaria Howard make an immediate impact. The junior guard earned a place on the All-OVC Second Team, as well as being named to the All-Newcomer Team. She also earned three adidas® OVC Newcomer of the Week honors, as voted on by the Sports Information Directors.
