COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- It's Youth Basketball Night Saturday in Eblen
Center when Tennessee Tech hosts Austin Peay in an OVC doubeheader,
and four area counties will be featured this week with one dollar
admission offers.
Youth baketball players in the region can attend Saturday's
doubleheader against the Governors free of charge, as guests of the
Tech basketball teams. The women's game begins at 5:30 p.m.,
followed by the men's contest. All youth basketball players will be
admitted free if they are wearing their team basketball shirt. This
offer is good for Vision Basketball, Upward Basketball, Putnam
County Youth Basketball League, as well as any other youth
basketball teams in the Upper Cumberland.
Immediate family members can purchase tickets for one dollar
each.
Jackson County and Overton County residents are the first of the area counties to be featured with one dollar admission to the doublehader on Thursday against Murray State, also beginning at 5:30 p.m. Residents of these two neighboring counties may purchase tickets for one dollar each at the ticket office on the night of the game.
On Saturday, it's residents of White County and Cumberland
County who will be featured with the one dollar admission offer
when Tech and rival Austin Peay tangle.
Putnam County Night is set for Thursday, Jan. 15, when Tech
entertains UT Martin in an OVC twinbill, also beginning at 5:30
p.m. The same one dollar offer is extended to residents of Putnam
County for the games.
