COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – In what could go down as one of the quickest returns of a home-and-home series in recent memory, the Tennessee Tech men's basketball team will hit the road and head south to play a very familiar foe Wednesday evening as the Golden Eagles visit Southeastern Louisiana at 7 p.m. CT in Hammond, La.

Tech is coming off a 19-points victory over the same Lions' team Monday evening, overcoming a slow start and just three-point halftime lead to take total control of the ball game and come away with an 81-62 win. It marked the Golden Eagles' third home victory of the season, moving the squad to 3-1 on the year.

The match-up marks one of two games two played during the Thanksgiving week for the Tech squad, which will make base camp in New Orleans from Tuesday to Sunday. The Golden Eagles will also face off against New Orleans-based Tulane on Sunday to complete its week-long road trip.

Season tickets that will allow fans to enjoy the entire Golden Eagle home basketball schedule are on sale, with a variety of ticket options to choose from. Fans may purchase their tickets online (TTUsports.com), in person at the Athletics Ticket Office in Eblen Center, or on the telephone (931-372-3940).

SETTING THE STAGE
This contest marks the second in three days between the two programs, the first time Tech has faced off against the same opponent twice that quickly since 1971 when the Golden Eagles played Texas-Pan American twice in Edinburg, Texas. The Tech squad will look for a different result than that series, as the Golden Eagles split it with a win and a loss.

To pull that off, the Golden Eagles will for similar performances from five players from Monday night's contest.

Charles Jackson notched his fourth double-double in as many games, scoring 13 points and pulling in 11 rebounds. Josiah Moore found his stroke, leading the Golden Eagles with 16 points thanks to 3-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc.

Torrance Rowe tallied 11 points while dishing out a season-high seven assists while Dwan Caldwell kept his scoring average right on par with a 14-point performance. He added five rebounds as well. Freshman Aleksa Jugovic enjoyed a break-out night, hitting four of his six 3-point attempts and finished with a season-best 14 points in just 15 minutes of action.

Tech dished out 23 assists as a team and out-rebounded the Lions 22-7 in the second half to really run away late with the game. The Golden Eagles will look to continue its hot hand after rallying from a 19-point deficit on Saturday and scoring a 19-point win Monday.

Southeastern's Andrew Guillory led the Lions with 17 points on the night, sinking all five of his free throw attempts. DeVonte Upson managed 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the floor and former Murray State Racer Zay Jackson put up 13 points and four assists on the scoreboard. Onochie Ochie rounded out the top scorers for the Lions, dropping 10 points in 16 minutes of action.
