Tech returns to Sevierville to host 11th annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team makes its familiar return to Sevierville, Tenn. to host the 11th annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at Sevierville Golf Club. Play begins Sunday and will run through Tuesday while teams compete on the Highlands Course.

BOBBY NICHOLS INTERCOLLEGIATE: Mar. 17-19, 2024 – 54 holes (18 Sunday, 18 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-71, 5,817-yard Highlands Course at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tenn. Play will begin each day with tee times off holes 1 and 10, beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are senior Ainsley Simms, freshman Chloe Griffith, senior Gittle Sciolis, junior Reagan Stuke, and sophomore Kaydi Rhodes. Competing as individuals Lexus Julian, Sydney Branson, Lydia Baker.

THE COMPETITION: The 10-team field consists of host Tennessee Tech, as well as Bowling Green, Carson-Newman, Christian Brothers, Eastern Michigan, Lincoln Memorial, Maryville College, Niagara, Northern Kentucky, and Tennessee State.

THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH AMANDA SMITH: "It's always awesome getting to host our event. It's amazing to see the support from not only our University, but the families of these great players. The ladies are coming off a strong performance at Samford last week and look to continue our progress with Sevierville. We're very proud of the effort and vision we are establishing leading into some of our final events this spring."
