Fall finale leads Tech to Spartanburg, S.C. for Terrier Intercollegiate

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team closes out the 2023-24 fall slate with two days of action at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C., competing in the Terrier Intercollegiate starting Monday, Oct. 23.

TERRIER INTERCOLLEGIATE: Oct. 23-24, 2023 – 54 holes (36 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-72, 6,056-yard Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C. Play will begin Monday with 36 holes of action starting with a shotgun start. Tech will compete in the final round on Tuesday, also featuring a shotgun start.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are freshman Chloe Griffith, senior Ainsley Simms, senior Gittle Sciolis, junior Reagan Stuke, and sophomore Kaydi Rhodes. Competing as an individual is sophomore Sydney Branson.

THE COMPETITION: The 14-team field consists of host Wofford, as well as App State, Bowling Green, The Citadel, Elon, Gardner-Webb, IUPUI, Lamar, Presbyterian, Samford, Tennessee Tech, USC Upstate, Western Carolina, and Winthrop.

THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH AMANDA SMITH: "We love coming back to this event, not only because Carolina Country Club is a prestigious course, but also because it is a great way to close out our season. They always treat us professionally there and truly give our ladies a wonderful experience. We have put together a great collection of events this fall and I'm excited to see the ladies collectively put it all together."
