Fall 2021 (Senior): Lawson participated in three of the team’s four tournaments in the fall, competing in nine rounds of play… opened the year with a season-low 229 at the Golfweek Fall Challenge (Sept. 12-14), capturing rounds of 75-75-79=229… finished the fall season with a scoring average of 79.67.

Spring 2021 (Junior): Lawson played in five of Tech’s six spring events, totaling 14 rounds of action… produced a 78-78-74=230 at the Colonel Classic (Mar. 29-30)… earning a top-25 finish at the OVC Championships (Apr. 18-20), turning in a 73-83-78=234… took home the team’s Bobby Nichols Award for Leadership… wrapped up the year with a 79.14 scoring average.

Fall 2020 (Junior): The 2020 fall season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Spring 2020 (Sophomore): Lawson took part in the team's only event of the spring before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… finished in the top-100 of 264 participants at the Kiawah Island Classic (Mar. 1-3), posting a 228 behind a season-low of 71 in the second round… named the team's Most Valuable Player after shaving nearly four full strokes off her freshman scoring average and leading the team by almost two shots… finished her sophomore campaign with a scoring average of 75.88, the second-lowest in program history and best since Maddi Evert's 75.86 in 2014-15.

Fall 2019 (Sophomore): Lawson competed in all five of the team's tournaments in the fall, concluding 13 rounds of play… claimed her first career All-Tournament honor after placing fourth at the MSU Greenbrier Invitational (Sept. 16-17)… fired a 72-75-75=222 for the best 54-hole score of her career at the same event… turned in a 73-75-76=224 to tie for fourth and earn All-Tournament accolades at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate (Sept. 30-Oct. 1)… captured a 149 behind rounds of 73 and 76 at the Town and Country Invitational (Oct. 28-29)… finished the fall with a scoring average of 75.85.

Spring 2019 (Freshman): Lawson participated in four of Tech’s five events in the spring, finishing 12 rounds of action… tied the second-lowest round in program history and set the program’s freshman scoring mark after firing a 68 in the first round of the Jan Weaver Invitational (Apr. 5-6)… became just the fourth different Golden Eagle to shoot 68 or better in a round… turned in a season-low 233 behind rounds of 78, 81 and 74 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (Mar. 17-19)… named the team’s Impact Award winner and Most Dedicated Player… concluded her first season with a scoring average of 79.55.

Fall 2018 (Freshman): Lawson competed in four of the team’s five fall tournaments, completing 10 rounds of play… made her collegiate debut with an 84-80-78=242 at the Chris Banister Fall Classic (Sept. 23-25)… also posted her top finish of the year at the same event, tying for 19th overall… turned in a fall-best 36-hole score of 155 at the Town and Country Invitational (Oct. 29-30), sporting her second top-25 finish of the semester… wrapped up the fall semester with a scoring average of 80.80.

High School: Lawson was a three-sport athlete at Northview Academy in Kodak, Tenn., lettering in golf, swimming, and water polo… named All-State in golf in both 2014 and 2017… earned All-State honors in swimming in 2014… led the Northview golf team to top-10 finishes in the state tournament in 2015, 2016 and 2017, including a second-place showing in 2017… also led Northview to three-straight Region titles from 2015-2017… individual, posted a fourth-place finish at the TSSAA Division Small Class Tournament and finished first in Region 2 as a senior… also finished sixth in the TSSAA Class A-AA Tournament in 2015.

Personal: Daughter of Jill Lawson and Greg Lawson… born August 14, 1999… full name is Heidi Elizabeth Lynn Lawson… father Greg played football at Carson-Newman… teamed up with her former high school coach, Jennifer Blanchard, to win the 24th Annual Tennessee Women’s Four-Ball Championship in August 2019.

Academic: Majoring in political science… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll four times.
