COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – After a quick turnaround, the Tennessee Tech women's basketball team was able to find an opponent for this weekend as the Golden Eagles will entertain Western Kentucky.
The game will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Eblen Center.
This addition will not affect the Mercer game on Monday afternoon, also a 2 p.m. start.
The Lady Toppers' addition comes in place of the Samford contest that was originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon, but had to be canceled Friday morning after Samford entered COVID protocols.
Tech is no stranger to WKU as the two teams have met dating back to the 1975-76 campaign. The Lady Toppers have a slim 19-18 advantage in the all-time series, taking the last meeting between the two teams 71-58 back in 2012.
