COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The fifth time appears to be the charm. It's been a tough couple of weeks waiting to take to the court, but the Tennessee Tech women's team will open its golden anniversary season on December 11 as the Golden Eagles travel to Chattanooga.
Game time is set for 2 p.m. Central at McKenzie Arena.
Tech was originally scheduled to take on Chattanooga on November 29 before the Mocs had to enter COVID protocols. The Golden Eagles then had to follow the protocol as well, canceling its rescheduled game against UAB and postponing its Ohio Valley Conference opener at Jacksonville State.
The game will allow Tech to get a non-conference contest under their belts before it hosts JSU on December 13.
