WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Once again, Micayla Rennick's school record in the mile did not stand for long.
Rennick raced in the mile at Wake Forest's UCS Invitational on Saturday, finishing fourth with a time of 4:42.45. That marks a new Tech program record, unseating her previous record of 4:46.15 set just last week at Arkansas' Tyson Invitational.
The senior raced on a flat track at the UCS Invitational, which converts her time to 4:39.69. This ranks first in the Ohio Valley Conference by nearly 10 seconds and 28th in the country.
