SETTING THE STAGE
The Golden Eagles head to Murray State on Friday to take on the 1-15, 1-6 Racers in OVC action. Tech is currently on a 13-match win-streak against Murray State, dating back to 2003.  The Racers recently earned its first win against Tennessee State.  The squad has also found its most success in the No. 5 and 6 spots, earning three wins in each.

Following the match in Murray, the Golden Eagles will head to Clarksville, Tenn., to take on the currently undefeated in conference play APSU Governors. The Govs are currently 12-5, 7-0 OVC, and will host Jacksonville State Friday prior to hosting the Golden Eagles. Tech could have the opportunity to earn a tie for first place in this match, pending Friday's results. The Golden Eagles will head in to Clarksville with a three-match winning streak over APSU, dating back to 2012.  The biggest match up will come should Mena match up with APSU's Aleksas Tverijonas who is 12-5 in the No. 2 spot, 6-0 in OVC play, and on a 10-match win-streak.
