ATLANTA, Ga. -- Georgia Tech claimed the doubles point, then swept to straight set victories in five events while claiming all six singles points on the way to a 7-0 victory Saturday evening over Tennessee Tech in non-conference tennis action.

Tech did capture one match, with the No. 1 doubles pair of Alex Arovin and Alberto Esteban outlasting their No. 51 ranked opponents, Carlos Benito and Eduardo Sugita, for an easy 8-1 win.

Their victory gave Tech a glimmer of hope, knotting the match in the very early going following an 8-3 loss in the No. 3 position when Cole Fiegel and Daniel Yun claimed an 8-3 win over Artem Tarasov and Jorge Alfonzo.
