COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech campus will be abuzz this weekend with families of TTU students, all of whom are invited to Saturday night’s Ohio Valley Conference football game between the Golden Eagles and Austin Peay Governors.

Kickoff in Tucker Stadium is at 7 p.m., while pregame festivities get underway at 4 p.m. in the Magic 98.5 Tailgate Park. The game is Tech’s first in the quest for the 2009 Sgt. York Trophy, and will be followed by a spectacular fireworks show.

Each member of the TTU Parents’ Association will receive free tickets to the game as part of Parent and Family Weekend. Parents and families are also invited to Tech’s OVC soccer match Sunday at 2 p.m. against Morehead State. Admission to the soccer match is free.

A busy schedule of activities is planned for families beginning Friday afternoon.
