COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Former Tennessee Tech golfers are invited back to Cookeville on Saturday, Sept. 19, as the team will host its annual Alumni Classic 3-Man Scramble at the Golden Eagle Golf Club.
The event will follow CDC and state guidelines for the safety of everyone participating in the three-person scramble format. While it is an alumni event, the scramble is open to the public.
Tee time is 9:00 a.m. CT with registration open at 7:00 a.m. The event will be facilitated in a way that will provide more space and outdoor seating options to allow for social distancing and to follow the guidelines in place for group gatherings.
The tournament cost is $125 per person, however, if you graduated from Tennessee Tech between 2010 and 2020, your registration fee is only $100. There are a few sponsorship opportunities available that are detailed on the registration form. Registration includes Ralph's donuts, tournament gifts, range balls, golf, cart, lunch Saturday from Stroud's BBQ, and awards.
Another perk is getting to meet the current student-athletes of the Golden Eagle men's and women's golf teams as they will be hitting tee shots on each hole. There have also been some fun contests added to the mix to make for what's going to be a really great weekend.
Please complete and return the registration form with payment and the names of your team before Sept. 18, or go online at TTUSports.com and register under the "Tickets" tab.
On the back of the registration form, you'll find the 2020-21 schedule for both the men's and women's teams.
