COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech track and field team heads to Bowling Green, Ky., this weekend to compete in at the Hilltopper Relays on the campus of Western Kentucky. Field events will start at 9 a.m. CT, while running events begin at 11 a.m.

The Golden Eagles will be looking to improve upon the success they found at the Margaret Simmons Invitational at Murray State last weekend.

Junior Brooklyn Kimball ran a personal-best in the 400-meter race with a time of 59.81. This mark was good enough for third place in the race.

Senior Rebecca Cline continued her strong outdoor season, as she took second in the 3,000-meter race with a time of 10:46.55. Fellow senior Meghan O'Donoghue set a personal-best in the 3,000-meter, running a time of 11:20.47.

Tech will look to keep improving on those marks and keep pushing forward towards the OVC Championships. The Hilltopper Relays meet is the fourth of five outdoor meets the Golden Eagles will participate in before heading to the OVC Outdoor Championships, which will be held in Edwardsville, Ill. on the campus of SIU Edwardsville.
