COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech Softball inked another signee as the Golden Eagles announced the addition of infielder Morgan Holder.
An expected May 2023 graduate at Georgia's Colquitt County High School, Holder won four letters in softball and three more as a goalkeeper for the CCHS girls soccer team.
With the softball program, she helped the team win three region championships and reach two state Elite Eight appearances. Holder earned two All-Region 1-7A honors and scholar-athlete awards.
Through her career, she continually improved at the plate. Holder batted .332 as a freshman, .358 as a junior, then .364 in her recently completed senior campaign. In her junior season, she posted four doubles, a home run and 19 RBI.
She follows in her father's footsteps as a collegiate student-athlete as her dad, Collin, played baseball at Auburn and Troy.
Holder also competed on the club level for the Lady Dukes National Rabitsch club program, leading the team in most offensive categories, including batting average.
