COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Due to inclement weather in the Cookeville area, the Tennessee Tech tennis team's Saturday home match against Southern Indiana has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced at this time.
Saturday's contest with the Screaming Eagles (5-12, 1-4 HL) represented a rematch of a clash Tech claimed 5-2 on Apr. 1 in Evansville, Ind. The Golden Eagles (4-11, 4-1 HL) have won four-of-five Horizon League tilts, with the lone loss coming at the hands of Belmont on Mar. 26. The purple and gold have outscored its opponents 24-4 in its quartet of conference victories.
Tech's next affair is slated for Friday, Apr. 14 at Middle Tennessee in the first of three straight in-state matchups over the weekend. TTU will square off with Belmont on Apr. 15 and Tennessee State on Apr. 16. Tech's next home match is scheduled for Apr. 22 against Eastern Illinois.
