Spring 2024 (Sophomore): Maxwell took part in all six of Tech events during the spring, completing 14 rounds of stroke play and five rounds of match play… captured his first career medalist honor and became the first Golden Eagle to win the team's Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (Mar. 17-19), turning in a season-best 214 behind rounds of 73, 70, and 71… matched the 214 with a runner-up performance at the OVC Championships (Apr. 21-23), carding a career-low 66 in the second round… finished 2-1 in match play at the Carpenter-Chaney Classic (Apr. 1-2), earning wins over Eastern Illinois and Southern Indiana… went undefeated during the match-play portion of the OVC Championships (Apr. 24), defeating UT Martin 5&4 before taking a 4&2 win against SIUE to help clinch Tech's first OVC title since 1990… paced the purple and gold at the team's first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance, finishing with a 225 at the NCAA West Lafayette Regional (May 13-15)… took home the team's Gilbert Darcy MVP honor for the first time… finished third on the team with a scoring average of 74.03.

Fall 2023 (Sophomore): Maxwell participated in each of the team's five tournaments in the fall, finishing 15 rounds of action… rolled off a second-round 67 and total score of 216 to open the year at the Allstate Streamsong Invitational (Sept. 11-13), locking down a top-25 finish… delivered another top-25 showing with a 70-76-74=220 at the Xavier Invitational (Oct. 16-17)… ended the fall in style by tying for 12th at the Bryan National Collegiate (Oct. 29-30), locking down another 67 in the second round… rounded out the fall season with a 73.73 scoring average.

Spring 2023 (Freshman): Maxwell competed in all four of Tech’s spring tournaments, totaling 12 rounds of play… also competed in Tech’s lone match-play event of the year, the Carpenter-Chaney Classic (Feb. 10-11)… earned a 2&1 victory over Eastern Illinois in the first round of the event… finished just 3-over for a season-low 216 at the Big Blue Intercollegiate (Apr. 10-11), ripping off a spring-best 70 in the first round… posted back-to-back rounds of 79 at the OVC Championships (Apr. 23-25)… did not record a single score above 79 over his entire freshman campaign… wrapped up the year with a scoring average of 74.68.

Fall 2022 (Freshman): Maxwell took part in four of the team’s five fall events, racking up 12 rounds of action… made his collegiate debut at the Golfweek Fall Challenge (Sept. 12-14), posting a 226… turned in his first sub-par score with a 71 in the second round of the Xavier Invitational (Oct. 10-11), finishing with a 221… locked down a top-10 finish behind a fall-low 220 at the Pinetree Intercollegiate (Oct. 17-18), backed behind a 71 in the second round… concluded the fall season with a 74.08 scoring average.

High School: Maxwell was a two-year letterwinner at Baylor School in Chattanooga for head coach Gary Partrick… led his team to back-to-back TSSAA Division II-AA State titles in 2020 and 2021… helped Baylor deliver the best 36-hole team score in state championships history, a 557 that clinched the 2021 title by a whopping 17 strokes… tied for runner-up individual honors in the 2021 state tournament with a 70-69=139… fired a career-low round of 64 at Council Fire Golf Club during his senior campaign… led Baylor to a pair of Region championships and two City Prep titles.

Personal: Son of Amy and Dan Maxwell… born April 2, 2004… full name is Haden Maxwell… won the Tennessee Summer Junior Open at 5-under at Bear Trace at Harrison Bay in 2020… claimed victory at the Summer College Prep Series at Vanderbilt in 2020… during the summer of 2020, won the Masters 2-Day event at Bear Trace as part of the Sned Tour, ripping off scores of 69 and 68… earned a runner-up showing at the same event in the summer of 2021… placed in the top-10 at the Tennessee State Junior Amateur at Memphis Country Club during the summer of 2021.

Academic: Majoring in business management… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll three times and the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll once… recognized as a GCAA Cobalt Golf All-American Scholar for 2023-24.
