COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team continues its Ohio Valley Conference-opening road trip with a meeting at Lindenwood Saturday afternoon, squaring off with the Lions in a 3:30 p.m. CT tilt at Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

Lindenwood enters the tilt after falling in its inaugural OVC contest at Eastern Illinois Thursday evening. The Panthers edged the Lions in a 55-54 battle in Charleston, marking Lindenwood's third consecutive loss.
The Lions fell in road tilts at BYU, 90-61, and at Utah Tech, 95-64, prior to the holiday break. Lindenwood earned their first Division I home victory as a Division I program on Nov. 23, eking out a 77-76 win over Idaho State in overtime.
This marks the first-ever meeting between the Golden Eagles and Lions.
Tech comes into Saturday's action after falling in a defensive struggle at SIUE Thursday night in Edwardsville. Both sides shot under 40 percent from the field, but the Cougars used their advantages on the glass and in the turnover column to earn the 64-51 win.
After missing the final non-conference tilt on Dec. 20, junior guard Jayvis Harvey returned to score a team-high 14 points and tie for the team lead with five rebounds. Graduate forward Jaylen Sebree also snagged five boards to go along with 11 points and three assists.
Joining the double-digit scoring group for Tech, graduate guard Ty Perry chipped in 12 points.
The Golden Eagles will return home for their first OVC tilt in the Hooper Eblen Center this season, playing host to Eastern Illinois Thursday evening in a 7:30 p.m. CT tilt.
