COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team wraps up its three-game home stand Tuesday evening, playing host to Truett McConnell in a 6:00 p.m. CT start in the Hooper Eblen Center.

Fans can follow the action via radio on 106.1 The Eagle with Roger Ealey on the call or stream the game on ESPN+ with Dylan Vazzano and Frank Harrell providing coverage.

So far this season, the Bears own a 4-3 record and a 4-2 mark in Appalachian Athletic Conference action. TMU lost a pair of contests last week, dropping a tough one, 76-74, at Tennessee Wesleyan before falling to Bluefield University at home, 81-69.

Tuesday's tilt represents the first meeting between the two programs, with the contest representing an exhibition affair for the visiting Bears. The game will count towards Tech's overall record for the season.

On Sunday, the Golden Eagles picked up an impressive, 69-62 victory over in-state rival ETSU, giving the purple and gold its first win over a Division I opponent this season. Tech held a potent Buc offense averaging 81.5 points per game and shooting 47.2 percent from the field to season-lows of 62 points and 35.2 percent efficiency from the floor.

Graduate forward Jaylen Sebree paced the Golden Eagle offense for the third straight game, producing all 15 of his team-high points in the second half. He added five rebounds to the mix as well. Junior guard Brett Thompson turned in 10 points with a season-high seven assists to go along with three boards and three steals.

South Dakota transfer Erik Oliver hauled in a team-high seven rebounds while chipping in eight points and three dimes. Ole Miss transplant and local Sparta native Grant Slatten delivered nine points with a pair of steals while graduate guard Ty Perry turned in seven points and a trio of rebounds.
