BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech men's basketball forward Jaylen Sebree was named Ohio Valley Conference co-Player of the Week Monday afternoon after putting together a strong week on the hardwood for the Golden Eagles.

The graduate transfer from Morehead State averaged 20.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in Tech's two contests last week. He shot 55.6 percent from the field and 63.6 percent from distance, sinking seven of his 11 tries from beyond arc. He added 1.0 assists and 0.5 steals per game to the mix.

Sebree dropped a career-high 25 points with eight boards and a 4-for-7 showing from deep in Tech's one-point loss at Lipscomb. The Tech forward followed it up with 16 points, six boards, and three more treys against Western Carolina on Saturday.

A native Hopkinsville, Ky., Sebree shared the honor with Eastern Illinois graduate transfer guard Yaakema Rose Jr., who posted a career-high 27 points in the team's win over IUPUI last week.

The purple and gold will round out the non-conference season Tuesday evening with a home contest against Kentucky Christian. Tip is set for 6:00 p.m. CT in the Hoop.
