COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech is hosting its annual Football Legends Night on Saturday, Oct, 3, when the Golden Eagles host UT Martin in an Ohio Valley Conference game in Tucker Stadium. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.

All former players are invited to participate, and are being asked to contact Cory McDonald for details. All former players in attendance will be recognized, and a special presentation will be made for the 50th anniversary of the 1975 OVC championship team, in addition to the championship teams from 1955 for their 60th anniversary and 1960 for their 55th.

This year, Tech has added several new activities, beginning with the opportunity to have breakfast with the current team, take a tour of the Athletic Performance Center, and join the squad during the Golden Eagle Walk through the KISS FM 98.5 Tailgate Park. A special tailgating event will also take place prior to kickoff.

"We've had a good initial response from former players," said McDonald, Athletics Development Coordinator who is organizing the event, "but there are still many players throughout the region who we would love to hear from, and we hope they will contact us and plan to attend."
