COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - With rain and thunderstorms expected in the Cookeville and surrounding areas Sunday, the Tennessee Tech baseball team has announced it will now play a doubleheader against Eastern Illinois on Saturday, Apr. 30.
The first contest of the double-dip will feature a first pitch of 1:00 p.m. CT while game two will begin at approximately 4:30 p.m. Friday's contest between the two Ohio Valley Conference rivals will remain at a 6:00 p.m. start.
All three contests at Quillen Field and Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex are still scheduled to be streamed on ESPN+ with Dylan Vazzano on the call. Fans are encouraged to follow Tennessee Tech Athletics' social media for any and all changes and updates to this weekend's schedule should any arise.
