COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Fresh off of his win on Tuesday night on NBC's The Voice, Jake Hoot will take to the stage at the Hooper Eblen Center on January 4.
"Hoot at the Hoop," presented by Better Cookeville – is a free event open to the public.
The acoustic concert will also serve as a public celebration of Hoot's accomplishments with special presentations, recognitions and honors. It will also serve as a chance for Hoot to express his gratitude and love for all the fans who helped carry him to victory on the show.
All seating is general admission and the doors will open at 12 p.m. with the event beginning at 1 p.m.
Hoot, a 2013 Tech graduate in Interdisciplinary Studies, was also a member of the Golden Eagle football team from 2009 to 2011, helping Tech earn its 10th Ohio Valley Conference championship and the team's first-ever appearance in the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs in 2011.
