COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With the Hooper Eblen Center unavailable Monday night as the Tennessee Tech men's basketball team takes on Lipscomb at 6 p.m., the third Jake Hoot/The Voice watch party will move to Life Church (2223 North Washington Ave., Cookeville)
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the broadcast airing from 7 to 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Hoot, a 2013 graduate from Tennessee Tech, was a member of the Golden Eagle football team from 2009 to 2011. He remained in the area and has performed before countless audiences in the region. He recently released his first single – "Better Off Without You" – then started the road to compete on NBC's The Voice.
He was selected by Team Kelly and has survived the first couple rounds of eliminations and is now in the second round of live shows with nationwide voting. For more information on Jake, here's a recap on his journey thus far.
