COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Diane Seng. Janet Holt. Emily Christian. These names resonate with any long-time Tennessee Tech women's basketball fan as just a few of the all-time greats to don the purple and gold and patrol the paint during their illustrious Golden Eagle careers.

Tech head coach Kim Rosamond and her staff are confident their latest signee, 6-foot-2 center Madison Brady, will be another of those names added to the tradition of elite post players to leave their marks all over the program's record books.

"Madison is a dominant post presence who brings toughness and physicality to our team," Rosamond said. "Her powerful frame and ability to control the paint will be a great addition to our inside game."

Brady joins the Golden Eagle family from Jacksboro, Tenn. and has been an integral role of head coach Brad Honeycutt's squad at Campbell County High School each of the past three years.

Her prolific career at Campbell County has seen a number of eye-popping achievements, including eclipsing the 1,000-point mark as a Lady Cougar during her junior campaign, leaving a full season left in her prep career to add to the total. Brady was also named to the All-District team as a junior for CCHS.

Brady is a former teammate of current Tech freshman guard Jada Guinn, having both played for the East Tennessee Pyro during the summer of 2018. The dynamic duo caught the eyes of many nationally-renowned programs during their summer together. During the past summer, Brady competed on the travel team circuit for Team Carolina, led by head coach Joseph Harrell.

"Madison is an elite sign for our program in many ways," Rosamond expressed. "She was recruited by several Power 5 programs, but chose to stay home to help us continue to build a championship program at Tech. She is one of the best players in the state of Tennessee and to be able to keep her home is another win for our program. Madison's ability to score in various ways and rebound at a high level will be a great addition to our team. It will also be fun to see her and Jada back on the court together."

When Brady came to campus, it was the comradarie and comfort she immediately found with her new teammates and coaches that sealed the deal.

"I chose Tennessee Tech because it felt like family,"said Brady.

Rosamond added, "Madison's infectious personality and enthusiasm will help maintain and elevate the culture of our program. She is a great teammate and always gives relentless effort both on and off the floor. Tech fans will fall in love with Madison Brady."

Brady represents the second signee of the highly anticipated 2020 Golden Eagle recruiting class. To keep up with the class and all things Tennessee Tech women's basketball, visit TTUSports.com or follow the Golden Eagles on Twitter (@TTU_WBB), Facebook (/TennesseeTechWBB) and Instagram (ttuwbb).
