About the Warhawks

ULM finished 10-19 overall and 4-14 in Sun Belt play during their 2018-19 campaign. However, the Warhawks are now under the direction of first-year head coach Brooks Williams. The Warhawks return nine players from last year's squad, while adding four newcomers with two freshmen and a pair of transfers.

ULM is coming off a season-opening 66-42 road loss against Ole Miss. Three Warhawks produced double-figure performances with Gara Beth Self and Diamond Brooks leading the way with 11 each. Tech won the first-ever meeting between the two schools during the 2011-12 season in a 68-64 contest. However, the Warhawks evened the series during the 2012-13 season as they defeated the Golden Eagles 59-48.

Home Sweet Home

The Golden Eagles finished 12-3 on their home court at the Hooper Eblen Center following their phenomenal 2018-19 campaign. Tech has so far continued that success into the new season as they opened the season with a thrilling 88-51 win.
