SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The Tennessee Tech track and field team had another meet filled with record breaking performances. The Golden Eagles once again traveled to South Bend, Ind., to compete on Notre Dame's campus, this time in the Alex Wilson Invitational.
"The ladies capped off another weekend of great performances," head coach Wayne Angel said. "We continue to build momentum heading into the conference championships next week. I can honestly say that we are ready."
Micayla Rennick established yet another school record for the Golden Eagles, this time in the 800-meter when she recorded a time of 2:09.83, claiming a fourth place finish in the race. Rennick beat out runners from some of the top schools such as Michigan, Notre Dame, and Georgetown. She continues to establish herself as one of the most prolific distance runners in school history, as she now owns four indoor school records.
There, the Golden Eagle's Lisa Wickham established a school record in the 60-meter dash. She recorded a time of 7.58 in the preliminary rounds, and then broke that school record in the finals with a time of 7.52. Wickham beat out all seven other runners from schools of Notre Dame and Loyola (Ill.).
Na'Asha claimed a second place finish in the-meter dash with a time of 53.20, which tied her own school record that she established in the Golden Eagles first meet this season.

Tech will return to action on Feb. 24-25 when they travel to Charleston, Ill., to compete at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships.
