COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Due to the incredibly successful run by the 2018 Tennessee Tech baseball team, the Golden Eagle Baseball School has announced new dates for its annual summer camp.
The new camp dates will be July 9-11 and 25-27. This will be a two-session camp, priced at $170 for both sessions and $115 for one session. Campers who have already registered, but are unable to attend both sessions, will be refunded $55 for the session they cannot attend.
The Golden Eagle Baseball Summer Kids Camp is a three-day event that is designed to help campers with fundamentals of the game. Campers will be placed on teams based on their age and will have a Tech baseball player as their coach. During the camp we will focus on numerous aspects of the game of baseball. Our focus will be on hitting, throwing, fielding, base running, and much more.
Our goal is simply to have fun teaching the fundamentals of baseball in a positive, energetic environment. We will also stress the importance of positive mental and emotional attitudes, which are not only beneficial to athletes, but are conducive to success in all walks of life.
Daily rag ball games, lunch at the Tech cafeteria, daily awards and much more will provide campers with an enriching experience enjoying the greatest game on earth.
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, helmet, bat, batting gloves, catcher gear and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Campers should also be prepared to play outside in cold and or wet conditions. The indoor turf facility will be reserved in case weather is extremely poor. Campers will need appropriate running or turf training shoes in this instance. Please mark camper's names on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.

This camp is operated by the coaches of Tennessee Tech. Although the camp may be held on the campus of Tennessee Tech, it is not owned or operated by the University.
