COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Due to inclement weather, including heavy rain, Tuesday's regularly scheduled 6 p.m. CT baseball game against Alabama A&M and Wednesday's regularly scheduled 3 p.m. CT baseball game against Western Carolina at Smokies Stadium have been cancelled. The Golden Eagle baseball team will instead travel to Huntsville, Ala. Wednesday late afternoon for a 3 p.m. tilt with Alabama A&M.
Heavy rain and temperatures approaching freezing led to the midweek schedule change for the Tech squad that sits at 14-5 on the year. The Golden Eagles will return to Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex for a three-game, Ohio Valley Conference series starting Friday, Mar. 23 at 6 p.m. CT.
