BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech second baseman John Ham took home his second weekly accolades from the Ohio Valley Conference Monday afternoon, once again claiming a share of the league's Player of the Week award.

Ham hit .400 (6-for-15) with eight runs scored, a double, four home runs, seven RBI, a 1.267 slugging percentage and .550 on-base percentage in four games. Five of his six hits went for extra bases and he walked four times.

He scored three runs in the team's mid-week win over Lipscomb and then in the first game of the UT Martin series the junior smacked a pair of two-run home runs, including the eventual game-winner in the eighth inning.

Ham also homered in game two of the UTM series and later scored the eventual game-winning run after doubling in the fifth inning. He added his fourth home run of the week in the final game of the series.

Defensively, the junior was flawless at second base, helping turn five double plays without committing an error.

The Golden Eagles return to action at Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex Tuesday, Mar. 13, opening a two-game, midweek series against West Virginia beginning at 6 p.m. CT.
