Golden Eagle home finale vs. Western Kentucky cancelled due to inclement weather

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Due to recurring inclement weather, including lightning, in the Cookeville area, today's baseball game between the No. 18 Tennessee Tech Golden Eagle and Western Kentucky Hilltoppers has been cancelled.

There will be no make-up game scheduled. The contest was to set to represent Tech's home finale at Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex. The ball game was in the bottom of the second inning when the initial delay occurred.

The Golden Eagles will hit the road for its final Ohio Valley Conference series of the season, visiting Morehead State Thursday, May 17 through Saturday, May 19 to round out the 2018 regular season.

Game one of the series is set for a 4 p.m. CT first pitch.
