Tennessee Tech Baseball Midweek Preview (4/4)

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It's back to the road for the Tennessee Tech baseball team, as the Golden Eagles embark on a four-game road stretch beginning Tuesday afternoon with a 3 p.m. CT tilt at Alabama A&M.

The contest represents the first game in a home-and-home series with the Bulldogs, with the return contest in Cookeville scheduled for April 12. Following Tuesday's contest, the Tech squad will trek north for a three-game series with Ohio Valley Conference foe Eastern Illinois starting Friday.

The Golden Eagles were defeated twice in their three-game series with in-state and OVC rival Austin Peay over the weekend, grabbing a victory in Saturday's affair, 14-3. Alabama A&M were on the wrong end of a three-game series sweep over the weekend, falling three times to Alabama State to mark seven straight losses.
