Tennessee Tech Baseball Midweek Preview (2/23)
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With inclement weather and unplayable conditions a concern in Conway, Ark., the Tennessee Tech baseball team's regularly scheduled Tuesday match-up with Central Arkansas has been cancelled. The Golden Eagles will still take on the Bears Wednesday, with first pitch scheduled for a noon start.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a highly successful opening weekend in which they notched a three-game series sweep of Western Illinois, highlighted by a 13-12, walk-off victory in the season opener on Friday. Tech capped off the sweep with two wins Saturday, 6-3 and 6-5, in a doubleheader.
Central Arkansas dropped three contests at the hands of Missouri State last weekend.
