Tennessee Tech Baseball Weekend Preview (3/3)
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech baseball team returns to action in Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex Friday afternoon as the Golden Eagles play host to visiting Miami (Ohio) RedHawks in a three-game series beginning with a 3 p.m. start. Play will continue Saturday at 2 p.m. and wrap up with a 1 p.m. first pitch Sunday morning.
The Tech squad had its midweek contest at No. 2 Vanderbilt postponed due to the threat of severe weather, while the RedHawks did not compete in midweek action. The Golden Eagles fell in twice in a three-game set against Bucknell while Miami (Ohio) defeated Belmont and Middle Tennessee last weekend in the Mule Mix Classic. The RedHawks also lost to Lipscomb.
