Tennessee Tech Baseball Weekend Preview (3/31)
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Fresh off one of the strongest offensive performances in program history, the Tennessee Tech baseball team will get back to work in Ohio Valley Conference play Friday evening, kicking off a three-game series against in-state rival Austin Peay with a 6 p.m. CT tilt.
Game two of the series is set for a 2 p.m. first pitch Saturday with the series finale scheduled for a 1 p.m. start on Sunday. All three contests will be webstreamed live on the OVC Digital Network with Roger Ealey on the call.
The Golden Eagles enter the weekend after defeating visiting Kennesaw State in a 24-9 contest Wednesday evening. Tech set a program record with 18 runs in the fifth inning of the contest that saw several NCAA and school records fall. Austin Peay is coming off an offensive showing as well, earning a 16-10 victory at Southern Illinois on Tuesday.
