Tennessee Tech Baseball Weekend Preview (2/25)
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech baseball team will return to Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex Friday afternoon, playing host to the Bucknell Bison in a three-game series beginning with a 3 p.m. start. Play will continue Saturday at 2 p.m. and wrap up with an 11 a.m. first pitch Sunday morning.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a highly successful opening weekend in which they notched a three-game series sweep of Western Illinois, highlighted by a 13-12, walk-off victory in the season opener on Friday. Tech capped off the sweep with two wins Saturday, 6-3 and 6-5, in a doubleheader. The TTU Squad suffered its first loss of the season Wednesday afternoon at Central Arkansas.
Bucknell split a four-game series with James Madison last weekend and did not play in any midweek action.
