Tennessee Tech Baseball Weekend Preview (3/23)

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech baseball team will return to Ohio Valley Conference play a day earlier than normal this week, visiting SIUE for a three-game set starting Thursday in a 6 p.m. CT tilt.

Game two against the Cougars is scheduled for another 6 p.m. start on Friday evening, with the series finale on Saturday slated for a 1 p.m. first pitch.

The Golden Eagles enter the weekend coming off a loss that was closer than the 9-1 score would indicated, falling to the University of Tennessee in Tuesday action. Tech trailed just 3-1 before a big eighth inning provided the final score. SIUE enters coming off a wild, 9-8 victory over Saint Louis Tuesday evening.
