A look at Tennessee Tech

Tech (1-10, 0-1 Horizon League) hosts the Screaming Eagles on the heels of a 4-2 defeat to Tennessee State in the league opener on Mar. 29. TTU's pair of points in the loss to the Tigers came courtesy of Murilo Burckhardt and Lucas Bitzer, who each claimed their respective singles battles.

Burckhardt and Darek Kuczynski lead the purple and gold with three solo wins apiece this spring. Burckhardt and Alex Alvarez have formed Tech's top tandem thanks to three doubles victories this season.

The Golden Eagles wrapped up a rigorous non-conference campaign featuring three matches with nationally ranked opponents as well as four tilts against "Power 4" foes. Tech locked up with the University of Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Mississippi State during its non-conference slate.

A look at Southern Indiana

The Screaming Eagles (4-8, 1-1 Horizon League) are coming off a 7-0 defeat at Notre Dame on Mar. 30, but managed to capture its first conference triumph in a 4-3 win over Eastern Illinois in the squad's previous affair on Mar. 26. After dropping the doubles point, USI claimed four singles nods behind victories out of Mathys Bove, Axel Sabourin, Jy Hibbert and Quinten Gillespie.

Hibbert leads the team with five singles wins, while Sabourin and Gillespie have each picked up four solo victories apiece. Hibbert and Sabourin have combined for the club's top doubles duo behind a 4-4 record, all out of the top spot in the lineup.

Southern Indiana dropped its other Horizon League match with a 7-0 defeat at Belmont in the conference opener on Mar. 22.
