COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With spring football in full swing, it's not too early to look ahead to fall football events as the Tennessee Tech football team has a couple of scheduled dates to mark on the calendar.

With five home weekends in the 2023 football schedule, Family Weekend and Homecoming are always major events on the slate.

Family Weekend is scheduled for Saturday, September 23, at 6 p.m. as the Golden Eagles host Kennesaw State. Family Weekend is traditionally a chance for the parents and families of Tech students to visit the campus community special.

The annual Homecoming game will be held on Saturday, November 4, at 1:30 p.m. as Tech hosts UT Martin. The game is the cornerstone of the week's Homecoming festivities with multiple campus activities, including the annual Homecoming parade, the TTU Sports Hall of Fame induction and the coronation of the Homecoming court, among many other events.

The home opener on Saturday, September 16, against North Alabama has a 6 p.m. kickoff time.

Tech's other two home games -- Saturday, October 21, vs. Southeast Missouri and Saturday, November 11, vs. Gardner-Webb both have 1:30 p.m. start times.

All dates and times are subject to change. More events will be announced as they are determined.

Spring practice continues on Saturday as the Golden Eagles host their first spring scrimmage at 10:30 a.m. at Tucker Stadium. The event is open to the public.

The team will also host its annual Letterwinners' Breakfast (10 a.m., Athletic Performance Center) and Spring Game (1 p.m., Tucker Stadium) on April 15.
