COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With the potential for rainy weather on Thursday, Tennessee Tech football will move its scrimmage and food drive from Thursday night, March 31, to Saturday afternoon, April 2.
The food drive, held in partnership with the Tennessee Tech Food Pantry, will be held starting at 1 p.m. Fans will be able to enter at Gate 4 on the west side of Tucker Stadium and a table will be set up there to collect food items.
Items of most need include canned meats, pasta, pasta sauce, oatmeal and canned fruits.
The scrimmage practice will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Tech opens its second week of the spring practice session this afternoon, with the spring schedule running through April 14.
