COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – There will be two opportunities to see the Tennessee Tech football team in preseason action before the 2022 campaign begins in earnest on September 2 as the Golden Eagles host two scrimmages. Both are open and free to the public.
The first scrimmage is set for 6 p.m. this Saturday evening with a movie following as part of the University's Week of Welcome festivities for incoming freshmen.
The big fan event is scheduled for Saturday, August 20, as Tech hosts its annual Gathering of Eagles.
The day begins with a women's clinic, starting at 4:30 p.m. Registration is available online here, and for more details, contact senior external coordinator for marketing and promotions Katie Pleasant at (931) 372-3709.
Following the women's clinic, there will be an autograph session at approximately 5:30 p.m., then free hot dogs and Pepsi products, as well as music, bounce houses and cornhole to entertain fans before the scrimmage begins at 7 p.m.
