COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It's a special year for the Tennessee Tech football team as it celebrates its 100th anniversary of its first varsity contest and the program is celebrating during this year's 32nd annual TTU Football Alumni Reunion and Golf Classic.

While nearly every golf spot is filled – a few 8 a.m. tee times are still available as of this release – the program is proud to invite back its faces from the past and take part in all of the fun on July 15 and 16.

This year's Tony Stone Friday Night BBQ Dinner will be held at the Leslie Town Center (1 W 1st Street) in the heart of Cookeville's WestSide district. In addition to an excellent meal, the program will look back at the legacy of Tennessee Tech football with its Ohio Valley Conference-leading 10 championships, 31 All-Americans and 81 Tech Sports Hall of Famers.

Saturday will feature the four-player scramble at Golden Eagle Golf Club as teams compete for the event title, as well as the Jim Ragland Cup – awarded to the top-finishing team made up of Tech football coaches, players and managers. The Jeff Jacoby Putting Contest, named after the legendary broadcaster and former Golden Eagle football player, will also be held that evening at the dinner.

Nearly the entire 228-golfer field is complete, but the weekend is more than just golf as last year's event kicked off the fundraising efforts for the Football Operations Center and upgrades to Tucker Stadium. The event has also raised more than $120,000 for scholarships and operating funds in the last three years. All proceeds from the tournament and alumni weekend support the Tennessee Tech football program.

The reunion package is $100, which includes all of the food and activities without the rounds of golf. The package includes dinner on both Friday and Saturday, commemorative gifts, a goody bag, beverages, as well as Ralph's Donuts for breakfast and John Dogs from John's Place for lunch on Saturday. The Saturday night dinner will be provided by 37 Cedar.

There are also still sponsorship opportunities available at the $500 Purple level, which includes hole signage, two tickets to the Friday and Saturday dinners and all of the event amenities.

Registration for the event is online here and tickets are available at this link.
