Plenty of options for fans to follow

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech football fans have
several options for following the Golden Eagles during the 2010
season, from live telecasts of the five home games to radio and
Internet broadcasts on the Golden Eagle Sports Network.
For fans who want to see the action live but cannot get to the stadium, WCTE TV will provide coverage of four home games. Their telecasts can be seen throughout the region and into the Nashville Metro area. The WCTE crew, headed by producer Rick Wells, will be airing the games against Lane (Sept. 16), UT Martin (Sept. 30), Eastern Illinois (Oct. 16) and Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 13).
The 2010 season marks WCTE TV’s 30th
consecutive years of televising Golden Eagle football. Tim Scruggs
will be in the booth calling the action on the telecasts.
The fifth home game vs. Jacksonville State (Nov. 20) will be the
OVC TV Game of the Week, and will be televised by the Wazoo Sports
Network.
All 11 regular season games will be broadcast on the Golden Eagle Sports Network, with Magic 98.5 serving as the flagship station, providing an uptempo program with pregame shows and sideline coverage.
Roger Ealey returns for his 18th year as the “voice of the Golden Eagles” and will be joined in the broadcast booth by Buddy Pearson. Brandon Goodwin will add sideline reports on a variety of topics, including a quick talk with head coach Watson Brown at the game’s conclusion.
The pregame show for all five home games begins an hour before kickoff with special reports by Freaky Dave from the Magic 98.5 Tailgate Park. On the road, the pregame show will go on the air 30 minutes prior to kickoff.
While 50,000-watt Magic 98.5 will provide expanded area coverage of Tech football on the radio, the broadcasts can also be heard anywhere in the country on FREE Teamline on either the telephone or the Internet.
Fans can call 1-800-846-4675 and enter Tech’s team code (0654) to listen on the phone. On the Internet, there is a link to the Teamline coverage on Tech’s official athletics website, TTUsports.com.
In addition, nine of Tech’s 11 games can be seen via live web streaming video on the Internet with a subscription to OVCsports.TV. All eight Ohio Valley conference games, plus the non-conference contest with Lane, will be available on the league’s website.
